Introduction
Timex Exterior Compact Laminates are simply superior quality Exterior Grade High-Pressure Laminates that are manufactured in accordance with European Standards. They are produced under immense pressure and high temperatures in the lamination presses. The panels are suitable for ventilated facades. PRODUCT MAKE
Timex Exteriors are self-supporting high-pressure laminates (HPL) that have decorative surfaces which are suitable for exteriors. They come with fade-resistant and weather resistant qualities. They conform to the Standard EDF (EN 438-6 Fire Retardant) norms. To make them fire resistant, the laminates are treated with special solutions.
Product Constituents
Special Polymeric Film for Surface Protection
Special Exterior Décor Paper Having Thermosetting Resin
Brown Craft Core Treated with Special Chemicals in Phenolic Resin
The Product is Made Up of:
Layers of craft papers infused with halogen-free Fire Resistant (FR Grade) Phenolic Resins.
Both the sides are layered with special exterior grade decorative papers. These are made using extremely light & stable pigments, special chemical solutions and inks, infused with melamine resins. The décor paper is rated 7-8 on Blue wool scale & 3-5 mm on Grayscale, hence making it fit for use on exteriors.
Special UV protected polymeric layers are positioned on the top and the bottom of the laminates. The layers guard the exterior compact laminates against the combined force of sun’s harsh rays and atmospheric elements such as rainwater, hail, wind and salt deposits. Even fumes from exhausts and chimneys and acid rain have no major impact on the health of the laminates.
